This hypnotic piece was composed with the vastness of the Hebridean skies in mind. The lilting melody captures the sound of the sea as it rolls in to Scarista beach. Using the player’s air, the sound of the waves is evident at the beginning and the end of the piece. Whilst nodding to its Celtic roots, Scarista Breeze has a distinctly modern feel to its phrasing.
