This is a jaunty little tune for alto saxophone & piano. It is inspired by a long hike through the imposing Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Skye. The piece is mostly in 2/4, but with a couple of 5/8s thrown in for good measure – think ‘dad dancing’ at a Ceilidh….or stumbling over rocks in the rain!
This would suit players of around grade 5 and is also available as part of a three movement Scottish Suite.
Sounds brilliant 🤩
